Aging is a natural process worth embracing and celebrating, but that doesn’t mean we always love spotting newfound lines and wrinkles in the mirror. Your skin should reflect the youthfulness you feel inside, and fortunately, there are many cosmetic treatments available today that achieve exactly that.
From dermal fillers to BOTOX® Cosmetic and more, our Vero Beach med spa offers any wrinkle treatment you may need to smooth away lines and reveal the younger-looking skin you love. Read on to learn more about a few favorite options our clients swear by.
Best for Dynamic Wrinkles
One of the most popular cosmetic treatments in the world, BOTOX is the ultimate go-to for reducing dynamic wrinkles. Do you notice lines that appear when you raise your eyebrows, squint, frown, or wrinkle your nose? Those are the types of wrinkles BOTOX is known and loved for smoothing away.
BOTOX is an injectable treatment that takes just a few minutes and involves little to no recovery time. It takes effect in 5 to 10 days and gives you satisfyingly smooth skin for 3 to 4 months.
Best for Static Wrinkles
If you have lines or folds caused by volume loss, dermal fillers are likely the best solution for you. These injectable gels fill in lines across many areas of the face, including:
- Nasolabial folds that run from the sides of the nose down to the chin
- Marionette lines that run from the corners of the mouth down to the jawline
- Smoker’s lines around the lips
- Vertical lines on the lips
Like BOTOX, dermal fillers are injectable treatments with minimal downtime. They do involve some post-treatment swelling, but this typically subsides within a week or so. Filler results can last anywhere from 6 to 18 months, depending on the product used and the area injected.

Best for Fine Lines
Did you know studies show we lose up to 1% of our collagen every year after the age of 40? It’s true—and it’s also one of the main reasons we develop fine lines as we age. Microneedling combats this by creating tiny injuries in the skin to stimulate new collagen production. Adding platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) boosts collagen and elastin production even more, taking your results to the next level.
After a microneedling treatment, you can expect some redness and sensitivity similar to a sunburn for about 48 hours. You’ll likely start to notice results in a week or so.
HALO® Laser Skin Resurfacing
Best for Overall Skin Smoothing
Halo delivers all the wrinkle-reducing benefits of fractional laser skin resurfacing without the downtime. This hybrid fractional laser uses both ablative and nonablative lasers to treat the surface of the skin while encouraging ongoing rejuvenation in its deeper layers.
You’ll need to be diligent about wearing SPF in the weeks following your treatment, as lasers make your skin more sensitive to UV rays. Your results will start to show once your skin begins peeling around day 3 or 4.
