While most facials feel luxurious and can soothe dry or rough skin, a facial works best when it targets specific skin concerns. A HydraFacial does both, using a three-step approach to cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate your skin for impactful and long-lasting results.

If you are new to HydraFacials, we answer all your top questions, so you understand all the treatment can accomplish.

How Does a HydraFacial Work?

This basic treatment typically involves 3 main steps and is performed by an esthetician.

Step 1: Deep cleansing: Your esthetician will use a special device to remove dirt and debris from the surface of the skin and gently exfoliate it.

Step 2: Extraction: A special tip is fitted to the device to remove impurities and debris from deeper within the pores.

Step 3: Hydration: Your esthetician will apply a hydrating serum containing antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid to nourish the skin and address skin concerns.

At White Orchid Spa, our signature HydraFacial treatment also uses LED light therapy and serums to address sun damage, acne, and the signs of aging. We also offer add-on treatments for lymphatic drainage, improved décolleté, skin brightening, and other benefits.

Whichever HydraFacial you choose, you will see an immediate improvement in your skin after your treatment.

What Skin Concerns Can a HydraFacial Improve?

HydraFacial can treat the following skin concerns, although results will vary by individual.

  • Acne
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Dry skin
  • Clogged pores
  • Rough skin texture
  • Aging signs
  • Sun damage
  • Dull complexion
  • Fine lines

The hydrating serums used during the treatment can also protect your skin from environmental damage.

How Much Does a HydraFacial Cost?

A HydraFacial can cost anywhere from $190 to $380, depending on the length of the treatment and its customization. If you choose to personalize your treatment by adding lymphatic drainage or a particular type of serum or booster, costs range from $28 to $80 per add-on.

Do You Need Downtime After a HydraFacial?

You will not need downtime and can resume your regular routine immediately. Typically, you will not experience any peeling or redness after the treatment—just radiant skin! It’s a good idea to stay away from exfoliating treatments or products with abrasive ingredients right after your HydraFacial.

Can You Combine HydraFacial With Other Cosmetic Procedures?

You can combine HydraFacial with many other nonsurgical procedures such as dermaplaning, LED therapy, or injectables. If you want to combine HydraFacial with BOTOX® or dermal fillers, check with your provider if you should stagger these treatments to avoid affecting your results.

Who Is a Good Candidate for a HydraFacial?

This treatment is for anyone who wants to improve skin texture issues, dry skin, lackluster skin, acne, and more. HydraFacial works on all skin types without the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in darker skin tones.

A HydraFacial is a gentle, noninvasive treatment that immediately improves your skin and confidence. Additionally, it encompasses the steps of cleansing, extraction, exfoliating, and hydrating, all in one treatment.
